Behind Margit Terrace is a family who works with heart and soul to create a truly unique experience for every guest.
We have always enjoyed discovering charming places, savoring good food and drinks, and spending time in an environment where we can truly feel at home.
Our first visit to the Margaret Island Open-Air Theatre in 2023 was a magical experience, and we were immediately captivated by the charm of the place. The closeness to nature, the special atmosphere, and the island’s unique tranquility provided an experience we knew we wanted to be a part of.
When the opportunity arose to operate Margit Terrace and contribute to this magic, we didn’t hesitate for a moment. For us, hospitality is not just a job; it’s a passion. We want to create a space where our guests can relax, taste delicious food, and truly feel at home.
Every detail matters to us, and we await each guest as if a friend were coming to visit. We hope to meet you soon at Margit Terrace!
After extensive discussions and a lot of behind-the-scenes work, we opened in three phases in the spring of 2024.
With all our energy, we aimed to create a place where we, too, would love to sit and where everyone can feel at home. We’ve revamped our menus, offerings, and overall brand identity. We’re continuously expanding our services and, of course, always open to your feedback!
We’ve gathered a young, cheerful, friendly team, creating the warm, family-like atmosphere we were aiming for.
